Birth and death are the routine processes in the world without having any physical possessions at the time of events i.e. birth and death. If this truth is accepted, one should understand the purpose of life is to live meaningfully but as per human nature there are refutations showing diversities which are apparent in every spheres of society. Human beings, supposed as most social intellectual beings, if accept the above fact, then they should dedicate in social service by bridging the gaps existing at the social, economic and intellectual levels. Those who are capable should contribute the destitute, willingly which will be a mile stone in the development of the society.

The education plays the most important role in the social upliftment. Education creates awareness and cultivates a sense of humanity, compassion etc and facilitates an understanding of developmental process in the society and eradicating most of the social evils and inequalities are also possible through it.

As per estimation and records the world’s literacy is approximately 86% out of its total population which is more than 735 Crores. As per the census of 2011 Indian population is 121 Crores in which 83 Cr live in rural areas comprising 68.59%. Out of total population, children belonging to 6 to 10 years of age are 7.81 Cr (9.5%) in rural and 2.76 Cr (7.2%) in urban areas. The total literacy is 76 Cr (63%) in which rural area comprises of 48.27 Cr (57.89%) and urban area comprises of 28 Cr (74.27%) and children of 6-10 years of age in rural areas 6.48 Cr. (82.97%) and 2.41 Cr (87.31%) in urban areas are literate meaning thereby illiteracy in this category is 17.03% and 12.69% respectively.
